What will happen to Beijing after the olympics?

We all know how China is really using militiry like tactics to tackle its immense pollution problem in Beijing which is soon to host the olympics.
Many factories have been closed down, construction work has been stopped, cars have been stopped to be used by owners depending on the number plate , misting, cleaning everything is taking place in a mammoth way..a cleanliness drive as big as the olympic itself.

What I was thinking..all these efforts even if late are in a good direction and atleast helping the environment in some way. But what about after the Olympics. Will China come back to the usual smoke, dust, pollution filled life or will this war against polllution continue later too....
Sometimes it is easy to stay in the right path when the world is watching you, but the moment all the hullaballoo of olympics is over....I hope China too doesn't go back to sleep over the issue....
This recovery journey should be ongoing and for that not the government but the people are the ones who have to take the initiative.
