Since the 1970's people knew that wind power could be utilized at the Maryhill Museum of Art. But it wasn't until recently that big wind power companies took notice. There for now the museum has a promising lease from the Cannon Power Group. For about 2 million USD for the wind farm leasing. Making the Maryhill Museum of Art the first in the USA to make money from wind power. A definite step forward in green energy in the USA. The wind farm is said to power about 250,000 households annually.
